I am building some tubs tonight for my mice, and one of the previous ones i made had the zip tie ends on the outside, and mad it very unattractive, and hard for me to handle would it be bad for the mice if i put the ends on the inside? the panels are on the sides not on the top...

If you're worried about it, you can always file them down after you clip them. Or heat them slightly with a lighter, so that the sharp edges get melted into a more rounded edge.

But honestly, you're fine without that.

Ditto - mine has been a godsend. I even use my soldering iron to make holes in margarine and ice cream tubs to make beds for my mice and cheap destructible toys for my multis. I wish I could have got one cheap though - it cost me £20 ($29) !!
