Mmkay. I bought me a new book at the weekend, 'Exhibition and Pet Mice'. At the back it has some useful information that I'm trying to use to plan my pet breeding to get some cool colours.

So. I have a chinchilla. I also have a sable. If I put them together, am I right in thinking I would get agoutis (or is that complete balls, lol?). And if I put those agoutis to each other, might I get foxes?

There. I'm making a big assumption. Please slap me down if I'm wrong :3.

You'd get red, sable, agouti and black tans first time round, but if you breed the agouti tans together you'd get mostly agouti tans, a few chinchillas, and maybe one or two black tans and/or foxes. You'd get a lot more in the second generation if you bred two of the black tans together, or bred a black tan to the chinchilla parent.
