Is there any known variety that calls for such a thing?

Does anyone have pictures of a marked mouse, with one or two vertical stripes? (From nose to tail)
Is it possible to breed for this?

There are no varieties that call specifically for it, but because of the way the neural crest develops in relation to color, a lot of varieties have a white stripe, which is counted as a fault.

I'm not the best with remembering the marked varieties, but there's one in particular that I've seen a lot of poor examples with white stripes that go straight down the spine. I'm pretty sure it's variegated.

Yeah, variegated often has the skunk stripe.

Do either of you know where I can see some pictures of it?

I knew a 'head spot' is considered a fault in a few patterns (and I've seen it go as far back as the middle of the spine from the forehead), but I just didn't know if there was something that specifically produces those stripes, or what. If Variegated can create that effect, I'd love to see some photos of it.

A lot of poor variegated mice have it. But you can't really tell because large parts of them are white anyway (which is also a fault).
