Yes, they are run by the National Mouse Club (http://www.thenationalmouseclub.co.uk/) and the London and Southern Counties Mouse and Rat Club (http://www.miceandrats.com/).

The NMC does not run any rat shows, but the LSCMRC does. I don't know if non-members are allowed to enter them though, you'll need to email them and find out.

Please don't let this offend you, but I doubt your mice will be of a suitable standard for showing. You can enter them, of course, but they wil be judged by the strict standards of the NMC, which are geared towards judging mice of the highest show standard. Pet mice will likely just receive a very poor report indeed. You can read the breed standards on the NMC website I've posted above and look at the pictures, this will give you a slightly better idea of what's required of a show mouse.

It's not about being pretty and cute, that's totally down to personal preference :) It's about being the best exhibition animal possible. The standards are there as a goal for breeders to aim towards. It's challenge to breed the 'perfect' show animal of any species, mice are no exception. You wouldn't show an adorable but scruffy mongrel at Crufts.

Maisie is a dove tan piebald satin, Millie is a dove piebald satin, and Jimmy is a black piebald. Although they are very pretty mice, they aren't suitable for showing because they don't have show standard markings. Have a look at this page: http://www.thenationalmouseclub.co.uk/marked.php, it shows you all of the standardised markings. All mice with markings have to fit the descriptions laid out by the NMC.

broken marked should be as follows:
"Eye colour to be as in standardised variety. A Broken marked should be as far removed from the Even or Dutch marked mouse as possible; that is to say it should not have either Dutch cheeks, saddle or any markings which may be considered evenly placed. The spots or patches should be well distributed all over the body and head, the more uniform in size, the better, also the greater in number and they should be free from brindling. There must be a spot or patch on one side of the nose. A Broken marked mouse without a nose spot must be disqualified. The nose spot defined as a spot on one side only of the nose, including the whisker bed."

you have pretty mice and you should be proud of them, but they are just pet mice. I'm sure if you ask about someone will post you a photo of a show broken so you can compare.

your mice are pretty and cute, they are pets and it's part of why you love them so much. The brokens in the picture Sarahy has posted are mine,to make yours like mine you would need to breed and cull/kill hundreds if not thousands.Best to enjoy the animals you have as the lovely pets they are unless you want to deal with the harsh reality of producing marked mice for exhibition.Alternatively you could keep a look out for pet/fun shows. Some agricultural shows in the summer months have them,my son used to enter his pets at these. The London and Southern Counties mouse and rat club might do pet classes.

you would need to breed those mice for many many generations and selectively breed the best out each litter to get mice from those lines that may be show worthy. and of course I know you have issues with culling which you would have to do to get bigger mice.

your best of getting better stock (like show-line stock) to breed if you really wish to show, and keep your pets as pets.
