Tan = a/at or at/at

Heterozygous: a/at
Homozygous: at/at

Tan is a dominant gene that has a red/yellow belly.



The feet should be the same as the top colour but some tans have tan on the feet.

Good feet:







Bad feet:





If you breed a heterozygous tan to a self you get 50% selfs and 50% tans.
If you breed a homozygous tan to a self you get 100% tans.

Tans can be bred in a number of different colours.
