OK guys this is a peek into our rodent shows in Australia. Our club featured on a Home and Garden Show with celebrity vet Dr Harry Cooper.
Our segment starts at 40:37 so you can skip all the other stuff if you want.

The rat used for the girl with phobia is our veteran show boy ICED John Wayne. That was his second Royal Easter show, he's an old man now :) .
My display was the Disney theme one with flashing lights, and yes that was me in the Minnie mouse costume *facepalm*. They got a shot of me right at the end of the day.

Your mouse display is magnificant, Klara! Your Mini Mouse outfit is adorable. Did you get a lot of comments about it? :D

The rat fancy in Australia is quite active, which is great (if you're into rats). The royal ag show focussed on rats much more than mice - you can see that in the video clip you posted. The mouse community is small, though, and getting smaller. :( It's lost so many committed and enthusiastic members of the last 2 - 3 years, and it's still shrinking. That's such a shame.

I wish we had something like the NMC here. I know it would be different because it wouldn't have a century of tradition behind it, but at least it would be a a good start if it was well run and active. I can only hope one day... :) In the meantime I do what I can to promote mice!

I can't see it. It says "This video is not available in your location." :(
Licensing issues, unfortunately. I get the same if I want to watch a BBC show online. Australia isn't licensed to show them.
You can get around them, but it's a bit fiddly. It's also why the stations try to make it impossible to download programs - they prefer the streamed versions.
