I find it's not uncommon for a young inexperienced doe to get quite vocal about their protests when first given the major sniff by a buck. And there's even great eekage and squeakage if they are both unexperienced, and sometimes even a physical fight. And I always let the buck have the 'honeymoon'; tank to himself for a few days before I put in the doe. And I give them nothing to hide in or under.
