I thought she was a roan... then was told she was either a splashed or variegated. I thought I'd post some more and better pictures in the identification section.

She is my favorite by far.

As you can see she will gladly crawl into my hand...and this is just 3 days after rescuing her from being a snack!

Right now she is pregnant by a blue spotted male (if she is pregnant at all) so it will be interesting to see that outcome...

Part of the reason it's hard to tell (other than the poor picture quality) is that whatever she is, she does not conform to the standard for any of the varieties she may be. Whatever her babies look like will possibly help.

my newb eye still think she looks like a roan...

You're very welcome. :)

It's possible that she's roan. With so many combinations possible in petstore meece sometimes you just can't tell 100% for sure without breeding a few generations. :p

I'm 99% sure she's not brindle. I'd say either roan or variegated. You'll have to keep us updated on what the babies turn out to be. :)
