Hello,

my name is Lenka Vejlupková and I have mouse breeding station Mettler. I'm from Czech Republic.

Given that I judge mice and also President of the Czech mice club, I decided to visit your yearly exhibitions held 7.9.2013 in Enfield.
What does such a day at the show look like?

I want to gain new experiences and make new friends with your breeder mice, as I have already done with breeders and clubs in Sweden, the Netherlands, Poland, Austria and Lithuania.

With best regards and wishes of the living and breeding success.

Yes the Annual is a good show to go to.
Yes, I know :)

Please could you me write, how will can timetable look like?
I have to make very planned. Suffice universally.
When you say timetable, do you mean the schedule with the exhibition classes or the rough way the day will go? Usually a 10.30am start for judging is aimed for, though it could be as late as 11am. People will be about in the hall from about 9.30am I would expect. The Best in Show judging could be any time from 3pm to perhaps 4.30pm depending on the number of entries. The schedule of classes to enter mice in is published in the NMC News the month before the show.

If you're aiming to get mice to take back home with you then you'd have to organise with breeders in advance.
Thanks, this info I meant.

On the show will be being none sales exposition, ha,,, OK I understand.
There may be an auction class but there are no 'sales stands' where people sell mice. I always think it's best to speak to the breeder first anyway :)
Yes, of course you are right!

Could you help me pleas? Can you advise me some breeders.
Mainly I´m interested in fuzzy, satin and ohter coats and on colours burmese, siamese seal point,
colourpoint beige, pew, himalayan all so in blue ;) and maybe chocolate mice.
Fuzzy isn't a standardised variety here, so you can't show them unless there's an unstandardised class (these do exist but not at every show and not that often). So the only fuzzy you'd get would not be an exhibition type mouse. If you already have the gene I'd recommend crossing to some big typey selfs like PEW or cream to improve them.

The other varieties you mention have a few breeders. For Siamese try loashu on this forum as she has good mice and has done some recent winning with Siamese. As for the Himalayan you would get better mice by getting Siamese from Kelly (loashu) and a good trio of PEW and breeding them together to make your own.

Thank you very much for your answer. I want to ask why you do not have a recognized variety of fuzz under the standard. Even these mice having a very good body type and color.
I attach a photo of my breeding. UZUMAKI od Mettler - shfuzz blue
Or it is perhaps due to the requirement of "ethical health" as in Germany?

It simply hasn't been standardized yet. The standardization process is a bit lengthy, and it would need a member(s) to champion the variety.
The UK fancy can be quite resistant to coat types (and hairless) getting standardised. Someone would need to make efforts to make them popular, get them on the show bench and apply for a provisional standard. I don't see this happening with fuzzies any time soon.
Oh, so I understand.

In the Czech Republic it also works. In the same way, I had to get fuzz under the standard.
