Sergeant Slipper the Giant African Land Snail arrived today, thank you so much Laoshu, I LOVE him!

After climbing out of the box he was sent in and on to my hand, he had a little wander round:

The Sgt eyeballs his new accommodation with absolute wonder:

Does he explore, or does he have some dinner first? He decided on dinner:

He is just the sweetest thing :love1 :love1 :love1 and surprisingly not very slimy!

I know! I've been very careful to refer to the Sgt as 'it' since that is correct but it feels really unnatural to me, and kind of mean! :lol: Then today, as I looked at his adorable squidgy face, I thought "I can't call you an 'it' any more!"
