That article is talking about American brindles only unless otherwise stated 
UK brindles are very hard to breed well, unlike their American counterparts (unfortunately). Have you got any other mice? I thought you only had the one doe (which is not great by the way, you need at least two does as they need company).

I thought you only had the one doe (which is not great by the way, you need at least two does as they need company).The best thing to do is to read up on breeding before you decide to go ahead. Obviously whatever genes the parents have can pass on to the babies, so you need to know what these are and any risks. For example, as that website showed brindles are likely to become obese. You may well decide that this is not a trait you want to risk producing in your babies.
