Hello All,
I’m Henk and I’m new to the forum and breeding mice in general, nice to meet y'all
After checking a bunch of videos online, I have gained a better picture of how to go about breeding mice.
However, I saw that different folks used different sizes of boxes and also different population densities. Yesterday I saw a video of a guy that said that smaller boxes had better results. Because he first tried to grow mice in rat boxes but those rat boxes are too big for the mice.
This is the box that he is using right now with much better results.
35,6 x 27,3 x 14,4 cm
14.01 x 10.74 x 5.66 inch
I want to buy premade lab boxes, But I’m not sure which size I should buy,
Either T2 or T3
T2 27 x 21 x 14 cm
10,62 x 8.26 x 5.51 inch
T3 44 x 28 x 15 cm
17.32 x 11.02 x 5.90 inch
What is the practical difference between those two?
There were a quite few people that said, that you can put 1 male with a bunch of females. Does anyone know the ratio M/F for T2 and T3?
