personally I liked the colour of your darker doe, obviously there were to many tan hairs round the vent but I thought the rest was pretty reasonable.

i'm hoping to lighten them up a little, it may be they develop tinges later; well work has begun on ear size and obviously selecting out the tan hairs etc. this last litter look more silvery to me than chocolatey! oh well all the fun of the fair!

I've been in my tiny shed making more room today! well the rats were going anyway! so more boxes of mice!

I've been doing the same. All my rats are gone.Sarahy came round and hoovered up 3 rat lab cages to convert into big mouse boxes and I hoovered up 30 wooden breeding boxes from Linda Humphreys which will go into my new dream shed which shall be coming after Christmas.Til then I'm limping along in a very cramped area with a stack of higgledy piggledy cages.Bit of a nightmare really

30 wooden boxes! i need some, but i fancy lovingly building them as a little project. I don't need the space just yet anyway, as my stud is very small.

I kept a trio of my British blue rats, just in case i get more space!

Congratulations Paul Hartley with a BIS self cream and also best satin with a cream.David Bumford best opp age in show with a PEW.Best tan Smith and Hollis with a silver.Best marked Dave Bumford with a variegated.Best aov Iain Scott with an agouti.First up the self cream

best opp age in show a baby pew

best satin a cream.I wish everyone had the oppurtunity to handle a mouse like this.It didn't win tops because it had a moult patch between it's ears so the self pipped it on level colour but what a mouse.Massive,so far removed from wild mus musculus. The flash makes it look yellow but the real mouse isn't

Doreen Cooper, club member for 50 years and Phil Hall, also a member for several decades

Paul,surveying his kingdom

Dave Bumford, correcting my paperwork errors,I'm not good at that bit.

Thankyou for your kind comments, It was a great show today good to see everybody. And of course very well judged Sarah.

Paul
after reading some of the show reports recently it was an unexpected surprise to find the quality of mice to be very good.Tans were also hard to choose between, some really nice mice, loved the agouti tan which didn't win despite being top notch.
Congrats to Paul and all the other winners. Nice to see David back in the top awards.
Congrats Paul!,

wish i could have stayed round for the finish.
Well done everybody! Lovely looking mice there :)
