What a gorgeous little mousie; his coat is absolutely fabulous. Do you ever brush him? I'm not a specialist in coat type, but he look he looks like he has an undercoat and an overcoat. I really love the way the bands on the hairs stand out where the coat breaks and layers.
In many cases, nomenclature (people often say one and mean the other or both). In others, genetics (go/go and lh/lh are separate alleles of separate genes).
Longhair is more common in the UK; Angora in the US.
