Would frizzled hair show up in a 2 plus week old kitten, his eyes aren't open yet, but his fur is wavy compared to his litter mates. I have no idea about the genetics in my mice as they are all petstore bought and I was starting out with a goal of breeding for feeders, and learning genetics on the side. The buck may have long hair genes, but this is the does first litter and she has a standard coat like the buck. I'll get pics when he gets bigger, just wondering if I could look forward to another gene in these mixed up meeces.

Oh, yes!! Two week old curlies are extremely neat; you will see rows of neat waves as if they are tiny little lambs. Later, the curls become disorganized, but at that stage it's ever so neat.
