thanks.I shall be dispatching any I catch .At the moment I keep poison down but it means their lives are wasted.Non poisoned ones could be recycled for ferret or even fox food.

Bucket traps are great, because they can catch dozens of mice at one time. Although, I hope you don't have -that- many mice running around in your house! :lol:

after a memorable mass break out in the house that resulted in a big Tom and Jerry style hole in the wall and the pitter patter of mouse feet within the walls at night all mice live in the shed now.Wild mice need controlling out there.

So the mice climb down and can't climb out again? Just put bait in the bottom? Do you have trouble with wild mice killing and breeding your tame mice?

yes that's how it works.I don't really have any trouble with wild mice.I keep poison down but if I could find a better solution I would be happier.Passing rodents are bound to be attracted .I've tried lots of traps but find only the kill em dead ones work(so far)
