Someone dumped a whole load of mice at my local petshop. The woman who dropped them off literally said its here or the dump. The lady is lovely but she doesn't have enough space to seperate the girls and the boys, so they're just breeding. Its a small petshop and she keeps her rodents in cages and not tanks; she doesn't have anything with thin enough bars to keep them in. Two litters so far. They have no bald patches, no sign of any dead or thin/struggling animals. No audible chittering or sneezing. Overall plump and glossy, just mixed genders DX.
The mice are nicely sized but not fantastic show type. They aren't tiny little pet shops either. Their broken markings are nice and clean, but there's no way of knowing what they carry etc. The choc is pretty deep and even, and the satins are pretty good. So all over moderate.
Me and my partner took as many home as we could, but the petshop lady is still stuck with a lot, and possibly some more on the way. Mice don't tend to sell so well as pets in our area. I know its not a normal kind of advert but I thought it was worth a try.
Tell her Emma the mouse breeder sent you and she might give you discount too. But she is using expensive food and bedding, and there are a lot of snakie people close by, so she's cautious about lowering the prices.
I'll post some photos of ours in a bit.
