My sons first pet litters have arrived :D
He has a blue varigated doe and a chocolate rump white. Both were mated to his Dove tan buck and they have produced 20 babies between them, 11 does and 9 bucks. I must admit I was expecting a whole range of colourful babies but, they all look exactly the same colour, dark on top and pale underneath. This is going to sound a daft question but how dark are black babies at about a week old ?? These look very dark but have a blue look to them. Just wondered what colour they could be :D

They'll all be black as dove and blue or chocolate have no genes in common. You should get at least some black tans though. The stomachs don't pigment for quite a few days, but you can tell the tans quite early on as the black stops in a line on the side with tans but fades round to pink on the self tummies.
