Lovely Pups! they look like they can be a right handful when they want to be ;)

~I would love a koi pond! do you find it alot of work?
it's a huge amount of work. The more you get into it the more you realise that the equipment you are advised to get by
places you go to as a novice is completely inadequate. It's cost a fortune to keep upgrading and Mark is outside every morning
maintaining the filters and testing the water before work.We keep them heated all winter so as with reptiles, big electricity bills. He wants to dig it deeper next year which is going to be a massive headache.
Still I have announced on the back of it that I need a bigger shed
That one of the reasons I have not got a koi pond even tho I love one to set next to in the sun. For a even a smallish koi pond you really need several hundred pounds of equipement. I may go with a small goldfish pond at some point instead.
Love your koi pond and I really love the picture of Bandit feeling guilty about killing your workboot
mousezombie, there is much to be said for a goldfish pond.I always wanted a formal walled pond that I could sit by and relax.
When it became apparent that my endowment was rubbish and wouldn't cover my mortgage I cashed it in and realised my dream.
Mark then added Koi and though they are beautiful they are high maintenance and spend a lot of time covered and protected.I can sit round
the pond viewing a corregated roof most of the time :!:

zany toon,Bandits boot chewing days are numbered.Much to my teenage sons horror his Mother has bid on a bmx on ebay and won it
and I'm going to be racing the paws off of those naughty dogs with the aid of my purchase.
I want to visit your house and get covered in boston terriers! LOL

Do they snort when they get all excited?? My friends boston when I was younger used to snort and wiggle and do that yipping/talking noise when she saw me... I thought it was the most adorable thing!! hehehe

W xx
How big are those koi? They're gorgeous! Do they grow to size depending on the size of their enclosure?

Think those are French bulldogs not Boston's :)
the biggest is 25 inches and still a youngster. They do grow to the size of the pond loosely speaking but nature can be overriden
with super duper filtration, frequent water changes and high quality food.
The dogs are french bulldogs and yes they are noisy.I never really notice but you get the occasional person who is scared because they
think are growling.
 Sorry!!
It's an easy mistake, most people think that or pugs and a few people who inhabit stupid street think they are pitbull terriers. They are a dwarf of the actual bulldog but with pointed ears.Bones looks a bit like a boston but they are a much heavier breed and come in more colours :)
