Sorry if this is in the wrong catagory but I need to know what these mice are?.I know this is a species mouse I bought them from a large rodent breeder down south they were delivered too a pet shop for me .I originally ordered a breeding pair of Grass or Zebra mice.I keep Egyptian Spiny mice but they do not look like them Egyptian spiny mice are twice the size of these, this animal is much smaller, are they Grass mice as there are no stripes and does the female in the background look pregnant she is much fatter than the male pictures will follow very soon to you please help sorry My pictures are not brilliant

I've only seen grass mice once but that's what I think they are. And it's quite possible the female is bred she looks almost double the size of the male.

do they have the spikyish fur like Egyptian spiny mice? i know some people are now breeding Pygmy Spiny Mice, ive seen them listed for sale but never actualy seen one but i asume they are tiny spinys.

I couldn't tell you what they are, but they definitely aren't grass mice. Grass mice have really dark, clear stripes along their back. There's some pictures of grass mice on this page: http://members.shaw.ca/petitepaws/zebra.html.

I'm sure someone will be along soon who can identify them
