I am stressing out because I have a terrible feeling one of my blue bucks has mated his female litter mates, also one of the adult females is looking very rounded all of a sudden.
I seperated the bucks out yesterday as they turned 4 weeks old. I dont know if its even possible for this to happen this early(I didnt think it would be), let alone having the adult female looking pregnant already!!
The babies are all quite large and the buck particularly is very well developed for his age. I have my fingers crossed that they arent pregnant because they are looking really good and were going to make up an important part of my line of blues :(

God I really hope so... I tink some of the young females had been mated because I think there were plugs but I am not good at recognising them so I might be wrong. Would they maybe 'practice' mating but actually not be fertile yet?

Hello, No none were pregnant the buck was just practising! The does are all grown up now and they are about to have their first litters which is really exciting as I love my blues.
