I am stressing out because I have a terrible feeling one of my blue bucks has mated his female litter mates, also one of the adult females is looking very rounded all of a sudden.
I seperated the bucks out yesterday as they turned 4 weeks old. I dont know if its even possible for this to happen this early(I didnt think it would be), let alone having the adult female looking pregnant already!!
The babies are all quite large and the buck particularly is very well developed for his age. I have my fingers crossed that they arent pregnant because they are looking really good and were going to make up an important part of my line of blues :(

If they were literally just 4 weeks old the day you separated, I wouldn't worry too much. It would be very rare for him to have managed anything under this age!

God I really hope so... I tink some of the young females had been mated because I think there were plugs but I am not good at recognising them so I might be wrong. Would they maybe 'practice' mating but actually not be fertile yet?

Even if the baby buck managed to be fertile at 4 weeks, the does won't be until 5 weeks onwards. And he is probably still too small to have managed to 'bother' his mother even if he is a randy little so-and-so  Honestly, I've never had a buck get a doe pregnant at 4.5 weeks when I usually separate, so you should be absolutely fine.

Hello, No none were pregnant the buck was just practising! The does are all grown up now and they are about to have their first litters which is really exciting as I love my blues.

I'll see what I can do taking photos isn't a strong point of mine-unless you like blurry pinkies.

Try using the macro setting if your camera has one. It looks like a flower like the one below.
