Her original name was Jene, but she soon earned the nickname Crazy Ear because of the permanent hole in her ear and because she was extremely adventurous and wasn't afraid to do dangerous things in order to get where she wanted to go. I knew she was sick, I'm pretty sure she was born that way. She was always in poor health, yet she didn't let that stop her from being a great mouse. She was getting really bad towards the end, and I'm glad I was there to take care of her until the end.

I'm sorry you lost her. She must have had an assertive personality, especially for a doe. Hope she meets my buck, Schtunkie, who passed away last Sunday night.
She certainly looks like a beauty in her photo.
