Does anyone have experience in this? I am interested in some mice and have tried everything I can think of to source 3 does. No one seems to have them (although I am sure there are some somewhere in this country!).

I am new to the idea though so can someone help me with what the cost would be, and breeders that would consider doing this?

Best idea would be to drive over here, collect the mice, and drive back on the ferry.

You can take dogs on the ferry, you just leave them in kennels near the exit on the car deck. Pretty sure you could take a box of mice and leave it in kennels too. Foot passenger was £25, single for Stenaline about 8 months ago. I could drive to Stranraer to meet the boat if you got some up to Scotland.

Have also posted a message in the Irish rat forums cos some of them have mice :)

I have sent mice to Ireland before via animal courier ( i live in Cambridgeshire). If I remember right it was about £90 for the courier ... very expensive but the person who had them was very happy :)

Hi, I am based in Northern Ireland also, I am looking for Siamese, Chinchilla, Agoutis and any variety of Satins. If they can be courier end to me at £90, I would be very happy to pay the costs if I am getting a sufficient amount of mice in the delivery. Which I would pay also.
